Miss January

After showing promise in the 5 yr old classes in Europe, Miss January (Cinook M) was imported to the United States to begin her hunter career. Liz earned an unparalleled show record in the Amateur Owner hunters, finishing Top 10 in the nation in 2016 and 2017. Miss January boasts over 20 championships at AA competitions in the 3’3 Amateur Owner Hunters demonstrating her quality and consistency.
 
Miss January is by the legendary For Pleasure and out of the mare, Minook. Minook, is a full sister to the legendary Holsteiner stallion Cheenok who was known for producing progeny in the top of sport in both dressage and showjumping. In addition to Miss January, Minook also produced 1.60 jumper Zaretino and the approved KWPN stallion A Quidam M. 
 
Minook’s full sister is the dam of Maclain Ward’s HH Cannavaro and granddam, Trika, is the dam of Mario Deslaurier’s Cocu. Approved stallions and international jumpers produced by this dam line include: A Quidam M, Chinook, Cabachon, Consul, C-Chap, Quintino, Cruise Missile, and most recently the Emerald son, LOL.
 
Miss January’s only riding age offspring, Finnok M (Mr. Blue) jumped at the 1.20 level and produced the mare, Inook M who currently jumps at the 1.50 level, showing that great hunter mares have the scope and quality to throw for both rings.
